I am an electronics engineer who loves to thinker. I repair and restore old test equipment, design and build electronic circuits and sometimes do commissioned repairs.
All the documentation I make is published on this site, as I strongly belief in sharing knowledge. I only publish under free licenses such as GPL, Open Hardware and Creative Commons. I never hide content behind a pay wall and you never have to see adds. The truth is, this will make life harder for both me as the maker as for you the visitor: I publish on free platforms (free as in freedom) and I also host a lot of stuff myself. You probably have to get used to navigating it all, but I think it is worth the efford as it will give you access to free information without adds or tracking.
All the videos I make are available on PeerTube and Odysee. More recent videos can also be downloaded via BitTorrent.
You can contact me by sending an e-mail to mees at the domain name. You are probably a nerd, so that's hardly a propper riddle.

The website does not use cookies nor does it show adds. There is also no tracking or analytics going on. It doesn't use third party scripts, fonts or other trickery to analyze your behaviour. It is hosted on my own private server, located in The Netherlands. Log files are kept on the local server for 14 days, for debugging purposes only. The website is encrypted with an SSL-certificate from Let's Encrypt. If you find privacy violating behaviour on this website, please contact me so I can fix it.
